This website features the CT800, a dedicated chess computer running open source software. Currently, you cannot buy a CT800, but you can build your own one given the extensive documentation.

The chess engine itself, however, runs also under Windows, Android, Linux and on Raspberry Pi. You can enjoy the engine’s unique playing style with all popular chess applications.

The project news will keep you informed about the CT800, and for navigating this website, you may also like the sitemap.

This is the CT800, built up as real device. The CT800 does not feature a chessboard. Instead, move input and configuration are done with a keypad. Answer moves and menu system are shown with a text display that has four lines of 20 characters each.
